We have the connections!
For the customer who is highly dependent upon excellent logistics, Texas TriModal is unsurpassed.
From a roadway standpoint, Texas TriModal is flanked by three existing freeway facilities:
- I-20, the primary east/west trucking corridor for the southern United States lies to the north,
- I-35E, the primary NAFTA Trade Corridor lies to the west
- I-45, which provides direct interstate access to the Port of Houston immediately to the east of the site.
Further, Loop 9 and the Trans-Texas Corridor, the proposed multi-billion dollar highway and rail corridor currently being planned by the State of Texas, will run immediately to the south of the site.
Rail access to Texas TriModal is world-class, with Union Pacific Railroad service available to over 50% of the site and with the Union Pacific Southern Dallas Intermodal Facility just to the northeast of the site. Burlington Northern Santa Fe rail facilities lie to the west of the site, and the proposed BNSF Dallas Intermodal Facility lies nearby to the northwest of the site.
Texas TriModal also is directly adjacent to the Lancaster Airport, which boasts a 23,000 square yard ramp, state of the art FBO operations and a runway with a planned expansion to 6,500 feet.
